TWO
PLEAD GUILTY TO STEALING AUTOS
Prison
Sentences Are Fixed at Four and Six Months by Court
Two alledged
automobile thieves pleaded guilty Monday when arrained before Judge
Alexander C. O'Donnell in criminal district court and were given
prison sentences.
August S. Hughes
pleaded guilty to embezzlement of an automobile belonging to the
Driverless Company, 1319 Canal street, October 9, and was sentenced
to six months in the Parish Prison.
A four-month sentence
was assessed against Arthur Williams for theft of an automobile,
property of William Canale, 1200 North Broad street, January 7. |
