MY TIPS & TRICKS:
~ ~ ~
Attach paper
items to the card with modge
podge,
bulky items with glue gun after the modge podge is dry.

Keep the cards in a flower
press for a day or two after they are completely
dry and before attaching bulky accessories.

Scrap booking supplies lend
themselves well to card making, but are expensive. Be on the lookout
for similar paper products and items that are not packaged expressly
for scrapping, as these tend to be more affordable. It is not
necessary to use more expensive "acid free" products when
making cards, unless it is a priority that the cards can last indefinitely.
~ ~ ~
For colored cards, place a
white paper insert into the card to make writing inside easier. Cut
the insert from a decent weight copy paper slightly smaller in size
than the card itself, tacking it down inside lightly with a glue stick.

If you want to print a caption
on the paper for the inside of the card, it is easier to do so before
cutting the insert to size.
